Harrow Swimming Club Training Camp 2018

Crol Centre Training Facilty, Hotel Bernat II, Calella, Spain

Following the fantastic success of the training camp to Cyprus in 2016, The Borough of Harrow Swimming Club is planning the 2018 warm weather training camp to the excellent Crol Centre Training facility in the resort of Calella, Spain.

We plan to take a group of around 25 including 3 staff for a week of intensive training setting them up for the season ahead. The camp will include 10 x 2hr swim sessions and land training to complement the pool work.

We evaluated many different venues and
destinations for the camp and have been
able to provisionally book lanes at this
fantastic venue in Spain. The swimming pool is a quality facility and is minutes from a fabulous hotel and apartment complex with diverse full board packages for sports teams.

50m 10 lane outdoor swimming pool (heated to 26 – 28 degrees) a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

Accommodation in small groups (3 to 4 per room).

Full Board including water for meals.

Plenty of indoors and outdoors land training space.

200m walk to Crol centre and 100m from the main Calella beach.

The camp for 2018 is open to swimmers aged 12 years and over (at the time of the camp) from Regional Yth, Regional Age, County Age and Yth Squads. Coaches’ discretion may be used to invite swimmers outside of this criteria.
